The Centre for Digitalisation, Democracy and Innovation (CD2I) at the Brussels School of Governance invites you to an online panel discussion: « The Geopolitics of Tech: Europe in an Era of Realignments? ». Julia Pohle, Claimsov project coordinator from Berlin and co-leader of the Research Group on Politics of Digitalization at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center, will join Antonio Calcara (Head of the Geopolitics and Technology Programme at CSDS, Brussels School of Governance) and Shyam Krishnakumar (Executive Director, The Pranava Institute) to discuss Europe’s shifting tech policy, the move from a human centered digital transition to a focus on security, resilience and competitiveness, and the implications for the AI race, the global data economy and strategic ties beyond the US and China, including with India. The event is free of charge. Registration is mandatory.
